1991 

The Early Years


Jitendra Bhalani started his journey in Surat as an employee managing a small textile unit with limited looms. Though the city was new to him, his entrepreneurial spirit and sharp business acumen laid the foundation for what would become a thriving textile empire.

1995

The Growth Phase


As operations expanded across multiple units with hundreds of machines, Kirit Bhalani joined the business, reinforcing its strength and vision. This period also marked the family’s deeper roots in Surat as they moved from a rented home to their first owned residence.



1996

The First Major Expansion


The two brothers took a significant step by acquiring a textile factory, setting the stage for further growth. Soon after, Haresh Bhalani joined the business, strengthening the company’s foundation. Expansion accelerated with the purchase of industrial land, where a new manufacturing facility was developed, nearly tripling production capacity within two years.

2002-2005 

Market Challenges & Adaptations


A new factory specializing in Jacquard weaving was acquired and operated for a few years before being sold due to market downturns. Despite this challenge, the three brothers remained committed to growth, investing in another factory that laid the groundwork for future success.



2009-2012 

Infrastructure & Machinery Growth


Ozone Group expanded its operations by acquiring land in an industrial estate and setting up a large-scale weaving unit. Over the years, production skyrocketed as additional capacity was added.

2013-2015 

Embracing Waterjet Technology


A major shift in operations came with the adoption of waterjet weaving technology. Starting with pre-owned machinery, Ozone steadily upgraded and expanded its capabilities, strengthening its technological leadership and reinforcing its position as an industry innovator.



2016 

A New Identity & Corporate Growth


After operating under multiple names, Ozone Group formally incorporated as "Ozone Textile Private Limited," marking a new phase of structured operations. The company also relocated its administrative office to a modern business hub at I.C.C. (International Commerce Centre), Surat Textile Market, symbolizing its transition into a well-established corporate entity.

2020-2022 

Overcoming & Up-scaling


Despite challenges posed by the global pandemic, Ozone Group continued to expand. On October 13, 2021, “Ozone Silk India LLP” got incorporated and started acquiring new weaving technology and amplifying production capacity. Factory construction was delayed due to labor shortages, but land acquisitions and infrastructure developments further added to the company’s long-term vision.



2024 

A New Chapter in Yarn Processing


Ozone Group expanded into yarn processing by introducing automated warping and doubling machines. Within a year, the facility grew significantly, achieving large-scale monthly production capacity. This expansion also allowed the company to diversify its supply chain and strengthen its presence in the industry.

The Next-Gen Leadership


Miraj Bhalani, son of Jitendra Bhalani, joined Ozone Group after graduating with his MBA in the USA and gaining experience in private equity. Viraj Bhalani, son of Kirit Bhalani, became part of the company after completing his studies in Communication in Canada. Their leadership marks a new chapter, blending global education with industry expertise to drive Ozone Group forward.
