Miles to Go Before I Sleep - The Journey of Miraj Bhalani

I don’t know exactly how life will unfold for me, but what I do know is that I want to live it with purpose.

From a young age, I’ve always felt the need to do something meaningful. Not just for myself, but for the people I meet, the lives I touch, and the work I dedicate myself to. I want to live in a way that, someday when people look back, they remember me not just for what I built, but for the impact I created: a mindset, a spark, a shift.

After earning an MBA from Syracuse University, I worked across diverse roles in the US, from customer-facing operations to financial planning and analysis. Each of these experiences shaped my mindset; they taught me structure, empathy, and how to look at business from the lens of people, process, and purpose.

Joining Ozone was a natural step, not just because it's a legacy I deeply respect, but because I see an opportunity here to build something meaningful, from the inside out. As a part of the leadership team, I’m not here just to continue what’s already working. I want to bring in fresh energy, systems that scale, and a culture that evolves with time while staying rooted in our values. Whether it’s through people-focused practices, sharper decision-making, or building newer capabilities within the organisation; I want to contribute to shaping Ozone into a place where growth feels personal to everyone involved.

Right now, I’m just at the beginning. I don’t have all the answers. I haven’t yet achieved something I’d call remarkable, but I’ve been fortunate to build a strong network and work alongside people who challenge and shape me every day. My aim has never been just to build a business; it’s to build something that breathes; an organisation where people feel connected to a larger purpose, where even the smallest task is done with intention.

I envision building a culture where every day feels like a fresh start, where people show up as their true selves, feel seen, and are inspired to grow. One day, I hope to create that kind of space where jobs become journeys, and roles carry meaning beyond titles.

This is just the beginning, a humble step on a long road ahead. I carry with me clarity of purpose, honesty in effort, and a fire that refuses to fade. “Miles to go before I sleep” isn’t just a line for me, it’s a reminder that every day is a chance to build something meaningful, to grow, to uplift, and to lead with intention. The vision is still unfolding, but the commitment is unwavering. I’m here for the journey, fully invested and ready to walk the distance.
